Call Editor RSA™ is a Caller ID device designed to be installed directly on to the Serial Port of a
computer. Call Editor RSA is housed in a small casing similar to that of a 25-Pin RS232 connector.
It is compatible with Caller ID Service of both single-message format and multiple-message format.

It decodes an incoming call’s Caller ID signal for the Date and Time of the call, the Calling Line
Number, and (if available) the Directory Name relative to the Calling Line, then delivers them to the
computer to which it is connected.  

FEATURES

Call Editor RSA is able to detect the Off-Hook and On-Hook line condition and provide status
information to the computer. This feature is useful in determining the elapsed time of a call.  

Call Editor RSA is also able to receive an instruction from the computer to out-dial a telephone
number in DTMF.  

Call Editor RSA is designed for use with a PC as it relies on the PC for processing for its various
operations.
